Through studying many of the great public motivational speakers we have discovered the most influential comment is
"Motivation starts with you"
It's something that can't be delegated and will often be created by changing your current state of mind.
Change is usually the first word heard to improve yourself by establishing short and long term goals.
The catalyst to change is to ask yourself what do you want, what do you really want?
Thus creating your first thought processes towards your goals.
For example
Have a lead role in a feature length or short film
Win best lead or supporting actor in a Film Festival
Write a script
Have one of the best show reels in the film industry
Win a BAFTA / Oscar

Success is achieved seasonally, there will always be ups and downs, it's how you manage them, it's how motivated you are through the positive and negative times you encounter.
An Actor or Actress should see themselves as a business and take a look at how that business is run now and in the future.
A great place to start is having your own website and social media pages with your achievements and aspirations.
Check out your competition and research those actors you look up to.
Create your own scenes or short films or find a company that can do it with you.
Once you understand the skill set of acting, your motivation naturally increases.
If you are sat in an audition room opposite the competition and you are confident you have the most skills in readiness to perform, chances are you are going to win that part.
Of course skill set alone will need to be enhanced by your preparation for the role.
